The day began with the most picturesque lakeside ceremony. The bride and groom exchanged vows under a natural wooden arch adorned with cascading dried floral arrangements—think pampas grass, bleached ruscus, and muted pink bunny tails. The soft breeze danced through the petals as the couple said “I do,” with the peaceful lake glistening behind them.
A Grand (Golf Buggy) Exit
After the ceremony, the bride and groom climbed into their awaiting limousine, aka zippy golf buggy, and took off across the fields for golden hour photos around the farm. The setting sun providing the ideal soft light for romantic photos!
Tipi Reception: A Bohemian Wonderland
The real showstopper was the tipi reception. Set up on the open lawn near the farmhouse, the tipis stood tall and proud with their canvas sides drawn back to reveal a magical interior. Inside, the styling was a masterclass in rustic whimsy and boho chic.
The colour palette was soft and romantic—pastels in blush pink, peach, and buttery creams, perfectly complemented by natural textures. Tables were dressed in flowing linen and decked with low, sprawling arrangements of dried and preserved florals. Candles in varying heights flickered gently in glass cylinder vases, adding warmth and intimacy to the setting.
Custom acrylic signage in soft, translucent hues added a modern edge to the boho look. A Welcome Sign & Seating Chart greeted guests, and each table was marked with delicately etched numbers in matching pastel acrylic, styled among clusters of wildflowers and glass bud vases.
